State of the Book (IV)

I wanted to share Season to Taste's cover design for the UK, where it will be published (by the wonderful Portobello Books) in August. I find it fascinating to see how the cover design changes from country to country. I'll be sure to share others as they come along. In the meantime, what do you think?

Great graphics, and I like the clever use of color. Best wishes with it!

Glad you're fans! I will take everyone else's silence as approval :)

It's perfect...but it's hard to compete with the US cover.

Hi Molly,

I have just read your book, cover to cover, in less than 4 days. It is fantastic! (I had a sneak preview copy sent by a friend who works in publishing). When it's published, I am going to buy a copy for my stepdad who is an Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon as I'm sure he'll be fascinated by your story. I'm also going to buy a copy for a friend who was born with no ability to smell whatsoever!

Slightly random question: have you ever been to 'I Hate Perfume' in Williamsburg, NYC? The perfumer there, Christopher Brosius, makes amazing replica scents of all sorts of things - cut grass, baking bread, burnt rubber etc. You should get him to read your story...

And finally, hope you enjoy a read of my blog - I'm based in London and love to write about all sorts of random things to do with gluttony, recipes, food issues etc...

All the best,

Thanks, Anne. I'm so glad you liked my book! It's really wonderful to hear from people who are reading it... And I have been to 'I Hate Perfume.' It's a wonderful little store; Christopher Brosius is a fascinating perfumer.
